Asset Management and Compliance Section (AMC)

Over the last two decades, the Department of Housing and Community Development has provided nearly one billion dollars of funding for the development of affordable housing. As a result, thousands of low- and moderate-income families have a decent, affordable place to live. Asset Management and Compliance Section's role is to oversee this housing.

Mission Statement

The Mission of the Asset Management and Compliance Section is twofold:

  1. To ensure that HCD projects continue to provide safe and affordable housing to eligible low and moderate income households in partnership with owners and property managers; and
  2. To protect the taxpayers’ interests by diligently monitoring the housing to ensure that the housing remains well maintained and financially sound.
