  HUD has established a single toll-free housing hotline (1-888-297-8685) to help disaster victims with all housing concerns. Assistance available from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. CDT, seven days a week.

  Under the direction of Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, California has provided substantial resources to the Gulf Coast to assist in the Hurricane Katrina Disaster and continues to be available to provide additional resources as requests are made by the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
